For my final project I chose to make a poster/infographic to highlight awareness about the lasting impact the BP oil spill has had on dolphins in the Gulf of Mexico.  Since the oil well exploded in April, over 500 dead dolphins (a large percentage being infants or fetuses) have washed up on the gulf shores.  The first live dolphin found in the gulf was discovered only two days ago.  NOAA scientists have discovered bacterial infections in the dead dolphin carcasses and are still investigating how much of an impact the oil spill had on dolphin immune systems.
